Process

In November of 2018 residents selected various park amenities by completing surveys available on-line and at recreation centers and/or attending the public open house. Design concepts were presented to City Council in December 2018. City Council proposed changes to the design concepts expressing the importance of parks providing an inclusive play structure and elements for people of all ages and abilities. Many site conditions, including fire access, utilities and demolition were addressed prior to the construction contract award in December 2019.
